Congressman Dana Rohrabacher
Congressman Dana Rohrabacher is a longtime member of the House Science and Technology Committee. He has been a stalwart supporter of America's space program and an early advocate of the commercial space industry. Congressman Rohrabacher was also served as chairman of the Space and Aeronautics subcommittee from 1997 to 2005. Rohrabacher's Commercial Space Launch Amendments Act of 2004 has been a critical element in the development of the commercial human spaceflight industry. He has also served on the Energy and Environment Subcommittee as well as serving as Chairman on the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Prior to his election to Congress in 1988, Dana Rohrabacher served as a speechwriter and Special Assistant to President Ronald Reagan.
