LOS ANGELES REGIONAL NEWSPACE BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION – Saturday, 10-12
The Regional NewSpace Business Plan Competition, presented semi-annually by The Center for Space Commerce & Finance (CSCF), sponsored by the Heinlein Prize Trust. In âshark tankâ style, six qualifying business startup/early-stage companies will have a total of 15 minutes to present their business pitch and answer questions before a panel of judges. The winning team of this event will receive a $2,500 cash prize.

SPACE INVESTMENT SUMMIT 2.0 – Saturday 2-5
Years ago, when one said âspace investmentâ, the response by most investors was âIt's too rich for my bloodâ. Traditional investments in the space arena limited itself to established launch companies and the heavy communications satellite markets.
But times have changed. A plethora of âNewSpaceâ companies – dedicated to disrupting established ecosystem – have reached a a critical path of success, and investment – angel, VC, and institutional, is keeping pace with the new opportunities. Billions are being risked each year in new launch, services, and smallsat/payloads firms around the world.
